The motivation for this song began with a conversation I was having with my mother about her dog. My mother inherited a rescue dog and her behavior raised question.
You can tell the dog definitely been abused and abandoned. So I raised the question “if the dog could speak; what would she tell us about her past?”
I felt that would be a good topic for a song; and that’s how I came up with “If U’re Past Could Speak?” I choose a slow track to convey what I was saying, allowing my listener to connect and relate to the subject.
“If U’re Past Could Speak?” is the 2nd track on my “Tha Playlist Vol1: Back At It Again” album released.
The track was originally released on my “Tha Playlist Vol1: Tha Beginning” album release, but I decided to rebuild some of my albums and pull some off the shelf. When I started to rebuild my “Tha Playlist Vol1: Back At It Again” album release, I felt this track fits in the tracklist.
