Last month, I revised my soundcloud profile, which I abandoned for about 5 years to try to establish myself on spotify.
I have decided to start at the beginning with a lot of things with my career.
The 1st thing was revise my soundcloud profile, because soundcloud is not strict with their polices on promotion, like spotify.
I learned that spotify doesn’t cater to UN-established artist like soundcloud does.
I mentioned that I have revised my soundcloud profile, and they offer a service called “Amplify”, which recommends songs to 100-1000 people. Two of my songs:
- Money Printer Remix (f/The Real MicHeal/Manifes)
- Still Tha Same
went above the threshold and received over a thousand recommendations and streams, which encouraged me to invest in outside promotion on “Still Tha Same. It was received well and gained me four thousand streams. I didn’t pay for any promotion on “Money Printer Remix”, but it started to climb with the “Amplify” on soundcloud reaching just under 3000 streams. And all this occurred in less than 30 days of my return to soundcloud, and I have accomplished over 10k streams in less than 30 days.
I am excited about those stats, and I’m anxious to continue to promote and establish myself.
