The month of April was full of positives, after leaving a 8 month hiatus to regroup, and formulate a goal and a game plan.
My goal is to “PROMOTE”, to begin to establish myself and introduce people to me and establish and expand my fan base.
There are some things that I have done this month which begins my campaign of promotion.
The 1st of many steps on this promotion journey was to update my soundcloud profile, my music catalog and my bio. Soundcloud is where I began 8 years ago and I’ve always had good results; so I updated my profile, and uploaded new songs and erased old.
Using one of the services that soundcloud offers, I managed to gain stats on two tracks:
- Money Printer Remix (f/The Real Mic Heal/Manifes)
- Still Tha Same
the stats received for these tracks motivated me to pay for promotion for “Still Tha Same”. Once the campaign for “Still Tha Same” began, the stats that I was receiving motivated me to promote a song called “Rock My Enemies...”
I received nice stats within a 30 day period, which sets up things for May.
During the month of April, I have began to record on two albums, which I will post more as I complete the project, I have started posting more blogs on my website, and I’m starting the ground work on a video journal series I plan to introduce in the month of July.
April gave me confidence and confirmed my plan to start accomplishing my goals. This was just a brief recap on April’s happenings, look out for the posting: “May’s Announcements...”
