This song starts the album and addresses the person who took me through some events.
The song tells the story, but I'm going to fill the gaps. This is where I began my inspiration for “Addressing Mr. Young 2Day!”
a friend of mine was having a house guest, and at the time my friends health was not the best for entertaining company outside the house, at the time of the visit. He asked me to fill in and entertain his friend as a favor; so I did!
When I parted to go home for the evening, Antoine and I were on one page, and he and my friend were not on the same page. When Antoine left my friends house that next morning, my friend couldn’t wait to call me and tell me everything that had been said about me. My friend knows me very well, so he knew those things weren’t true. But what had me and my friend so confused was; what was the motive?
He lied on me to my friend about some things, I did not do, accused me of stealing from him, and sent the police to my friends house to have me arrested.
Theses events happened over a two week stretch; and I had just finished producing a number of tracks to begin recording “Disconnected...”
Over the two week course, Antoine sent the police to my friends house twice to have me arrested. ( “NOW THIS IS GOD!”): I go to my friends house everyday of the week; those two days that the police actually were called, I just happen to not visit my friend those two different days, in two different weeks.
After the second police visit; I got pissed, and I had to vent. So I decided, I’ll do one better, I'm not going to just vent, I'm going to address this on a record. Soon as I hung up from my friend, I began to pick up the pen.
