Vol 3: My gift 2 U

“My gift 2 U” is the 1^st single on my Christmas release “Merry F.I.S.T.Mas”.

The song celebrates the joy and togetherness of the holiday season, emphasizing of the importance of unity, the traditions of Christmas, highlighting the spirit of giving gifts, sharing and creating lasting memories.

My motivation for this song comes from listening to Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas”.

Deeply appreciating the originality and how huge a hit it became, and it gave me the idea to se if I could create one too.

Since I can’t sing, and I was already working on my xmas project, the idea didn’t come easy at all. To me; it’s easier to create a holiday song if you’re a singer; this song was challenging for me, because it was hard to find the right subject in relation to xmas on an up-tempo beat.

After some time of thought and really thinking about what hasn’t been said about Christmas, I came up with a similar idea that I used on my song “Celebrate U 2Day!”. I decided to approach the song as a gift.

Once I decided to make the song a gift, I still had to think of something original in relation to xmas to write about, that would make people want to hear what I had to say, and not sound stupid, or redundant.

I came up with the idea of capturing the popular rituals and practices that we celebrate at Christmas time.

Overall; the song illustrates my various practices that are of my xmas practices written with metaphoric expressions like a story book.
