One of my missions as a music artist, is to develop a strong relationship with my fans and give something in return for their support.
After doing some research, I have learned that giving something to my fans, can help strengthen a fan following.
I have already established the free download for an email campaign, and that’s good, but it doesn’t assure a return visit, or engagement. I’m in the business of building and establishing a fan/artist relationship, not a one time visit exchange.
Starting the month of November, “Tha Portal...” will be offering memberships; “Free”/”Listener(Paid)”. My memberships will be my vehicle for building my relationships; this is my giveback to my members.
My memberships reward website points for any engagement: Ex: Viewing pages/posts, or downloads. The points can be used to redeem downloads.
Anyone who registers and create a membership will be rewarded website points for their website visits, and engagements.
Look at it like this: it’s the same as having a “Ralphs Club” Card; each time you swipe you earn rewards.

For $20.00 a year, my “Listener” members will receive website points, 2 free downloads each month, and access to the “Member’s Only” pages.
Website points are the way I can give my members something in return each time they visit and it encourages return visits and builds a relationship.
My “Listener” Subscription allows me to give more with 2 free downloads each month and member’s only privileges.
