My motivation for this was to create a hip-hop/rap version of a happy birthday song. “No disrespect to Stevie Wonder”, I felt it was time for another version of birthday celebration song.
I had this crazy beat and couldn’t gel any ideas, until this one.
This song is my homage and celebration to all my listeners, who play this song to celebrate your birthday.
This is my gift to you; my way of celebrating you and your birthday without me being present.
I really thought of my listeners when I wrote this.
